This place was great even though it was packed we got our food pretty quick and it was delicious everyone was polite thanks

1st time here- got seated immediately, staff was friendly and fast. Food was hot, fresh and good flavor. -1 star for how small the portions are, pretty disappointed that a $7 order of biscuits and gravy is only one biscuit, and the biscuits are the size of KFC biscuits. Tasted really good though. Thanks ladies!

Hearty helpings, all-American food, and breakfast all day. They've been open this long for a reason. They do tend to get busy, especially in the mornings as this is a popular hang out spot for the hardworking and/or retired seniors.

Sat awhile with no one. Got waters and waited awhile to order and she didn’t wanna answer our questions, we got our food and it wasn’t what we expected. Small portions. No one checked on us and we mistakenly ordered more food. Way over priced. We felt ignored and had to go to the counter for condiments. Apparently you need to be elderly to get good service.

6 people on a friday nightWaitress/bartender more interested in looking at photos on a friends phone then serving people. Cut us off on our 3rd drink. 1 of the patrons was an off duty bartender, not eating or drinking. Another was an older male patron. Also not eating or drinking but exchanging pics on phones. Idk how they make any money with 6 people on a friday night. 98% of the place was empty!!!!!

Not a place to visit if you are a well dressed woman eating alone. Tea water was cold, hash browns were burned, no butter with the biscuit despite additional requests. Waited 10 minutes for someone to pick up the check and payment at the table. I've been here as part of a group and received good service. I guess as a sole diner, my business is not wanted.

Great service!! Had my Dads Birthday party there. They were wonderful and even sang Happy Birthday!! My Dad was very happy. Thank you!!!!

Very good food just not a place if you have a baby because there are no changing stations in the restrooms , not even in the females. They were nice enough to let me change my baby in the back but it wasnt appropriate.

Very comforting atmosphere, great service, and the food is delicious.. everything from the breakfast, lunch, and dinner.. it's like I've been coming here all my life

Breakfast perfection! You would think that it's hard to mess up breakfast, but that's a lie...I've been to plenty of places and had bad breakfast. Burs has got it down!

The Samon was freezer burnt. The Fish and Fry's are okay and the Chicken fettacittie was greasy. Drinking glasses were spotty

If there was a morning gathering place for breakfast and coffee like the sitcom "Cheers" this would be it. Everyone is so friendly with memorable characters. The food is wonderful traditional breakfast entrees and some can even be of healthy choices. They use to have alternative breakfast meats like turkey sausage or apple chicken sausage. Not sure if that's still the case. Also, who ever took their hanging plants from outside. Shame, shame, shame. I was told those plants had been there for decades.

I love the decor and the food was amazing. Best soup I've ever had in my life. That Creme of Chicken is so good, make you want to slap your momma. I can't wait to go back for more. Thanks Pauline!!

The table was wheelchair accessible. The breakfast menu is great! Made an error and ordered steamed clams when the kitchen was busy with late breakfast orders and had to wait an hour for the meal. The broth for dipping the tasty, small steamer clams could have used a little bit more butter. My husband's Farmers omelette was excellent with lots of hash browns and toast. Because of the loud noise from the crowd, even the wait staff had to have me speak directly into their ear. I have hearing problems so my husband and I texted each other. I had spaghetti with meat sauce and was allowed to order from the kids menu as they don't have a senior menu. The portion was perfect for my appetite. No extra parmesan cheese was offered though the garlic toast was good and crispy.

I had breakfast, farmer's omelette with 2 pancakes. The omelette wasn't huge, which is not a problem. It was packed with bacon, ham, mushrooms, onions and tomatoes. I wished there was more tomatoes but it wasn't that big an issue. Every bite was full of ham and bacon and onions. The pancakes were big but not horribly huge. My coffee cup never got half full as the waitress kept it topped off. The food was excellent as well as the service and the price was very reasonable.The atmosphere is warm. I can tell a lot of locals come here. There was a larger senior presence, many who probably come here a few times a week. Most of the booths were full by 9am.I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting traditional, old fashioned American food.

Very great breakfast. Came back for lunch, felt over expensive but had good service. A sweet place with a good atmosphere.

Good food, appropriate portion sizes, decent service. Not really my clientele since the place seems to be filled with old bikers and that sort. It really feels like you stepped into a time machine when you walk through these doors but thankfully the food holds up!Their cinnamon roll is 👌👌

The new chef and extended menu custom traditional dinners. Friendly staff excellent customer service. A warm and comfortable place to go on a chilly Autumn night.

I've always gotten great meals at burrs but on Friday I ordered the halibut and fries with a cup of clam chowder. My clam chowder add big chunks of flour in it but otherwise it was flavorful then I got my halibut it was overclock to where it was like rubber I myself thought this isn't halibut this is chicken it had no flavor at all so I ask for a to-go container to take home so I presumed to eat some that evening and it was still the same not one piece tasted like fish on each one was hard like rubber so I don't think I will be going back there I was very disappointed they even gave me a piece of blackberry pie to compensate me and I took two bites of that and it went in the trash also don't know what was that that my meal was horrible

Great old time diner feel. As a first timer, I was worried I wouldn't get the same service as the regulars, I was wrong. I was treated as well, if not better than the obvious regulars that were there. I had to wait for my breakfast companion and then we were there for about 2 more hours and the waitresses were attentive to use the whole time. They realized we were going to be there for awhile, but brought our ticket and said no hurry and continued to take care of us. The food was great. Huge portions for reasonable prices.

Burs is another legitimately old diner that was purchased by the South Sound Restaurant Group. It is one of the best diners that they own. If you love classic diner fare, you'll find it here. I love the Monte Cristo here. You'll find great breakfasts - omelettes & pancakes & everything you look for, a full list of luncheon classics and Blue Plate specials for dinner. Everything hovers around $10.The staff and the clientele have been here for years. I love the vibe. Make sure to check out the large list of pies, cakes and cobblers they have available - on the white board behind the lunch counter! Yum!

This is a great local place to eat. The food is fast and the service is great. Light eaters beware; the portions are pretty big.

Burs is iconic, there are employees that have been there for over 40 years. It's a comfortable friendly familiar place to be.

Good food good service but a little spendy

This place has that old time feel with great food. The staff are super friendly and great you like family. Had breakfast here and it was amazing. It was a special of lobster Benedict. Very heartily portion of lobster. Will go again soon.

Great home town style restaurant. In the modern world it’s refreshing to visit places like Burs. Where the waiters know their regular guests and people are friendly. The casual but attentive style of service is warm and reminds me of a lifestyle once enjoyed by our parents and grandparents. One of community and love of country. It’s a joy to visit. The food is also great. You’ll get a delicious and well prepared meal. I’d always recommend their exceptional breakfast. Nice work Burs. Thanks for the local charm.

This place is great food is fast and delicious. I eat there weekly (for about 4 months) and have only had one bad dish but only because it tasted bland (Jersey omelette) just needed some seasoning.

Service was excellent. The restaurant is very cozy and very welcoming however, it was hard to distinguish staff from customers. My friend and I ordered the steak and eggs neither of our steaks were cooked to our preferences (Undercooked) and one was sent back but still wasn’t not cooked thoroughly. Overall the atmosphere is great but the cooking needs work.

This place is amazing and spacious, the meals was yummy and the prices were very economical. quickly, effective service and very personal staff. Will definitely recommend this spot.

We enjoy hanging out. Yesterday we went to this excellent restaurant which friends recommended to us. We enjoyed a beautiful time there with exceptional cooking and a professional stuff and a distinguished cuisine. We put this fine restaurant in our phone list and we will definitely go again soon. We went there for lunch and found the online menu prices are quite less than the actual prices, like about 30% more. Still, you get a good meal and they are so friendly and courteous. You can sit wherever you wish and there are no bad seats.

It's cold and in inviting the food might depend on when you get there me and my gf went morning closer to lunch are food was lack luster to be nice my club was okay more so cause I was hunger my gf had art the barber and to put it blunt we smoke weed and are fat people at heart and didn't finish between us...it was cold and mostly came out of a frozen bag at best long story short good service everything else to quote disenchantment....saaaaaad

This is a great dive diner. It's close to our house so we treat ourselves and walk here once a month or so. The staff is nice however they do get busy so sometimes you wait on your bill and water refills. My husband has had breakfast and dinner and enjoyed both meals. I have had their turkey sandwich both the warm one and the cold one. I prefer the cold one. Their fries are great. They have a full bar and fun "holiday" drinks.
